This had to be in the top 3 hardest runs I ever did.  I started out feeling yuck and kept thinking it would get better.  At mile 5, I broke down and took a power gel and thought that would help. It never did.  I had made up my mind to do 10 so I finished, but I literally cried when I walked in the front door and my husband asked me if I was ok.  I think maybe I was severly dehydrated or something. That is what it felt like, but I had drank lots the night before and a bottle before running this morning, so I am not sure. My average pace was 8:35/mile which is so frustrating.....maybe tomorrow will be better.

Whoa! Sorry you had such a frustrating run this morning! I hope you are feeling better now. Dehydration can really pull a number on you! I felt it hard on the last 4 miles of that new Hobbler 1/2 about a month or so ago. I'm glad your hubby was there for ya when you walked in the door. But way to get in over 10 miles feeling like that!

I think 8:35 for 10 miles is an awesome pace!
